Behavioral Science & Environmental Psychology
I’m a postdoctoral researcher in environmental psychology, affiliated with both University of Konstanz and Seeburg Castle University.
In Konstanz, I am part of the ECo Group at the Centre for the Advanced Studies of Collective Behavior, under the supervision of Kimberly Doell. Our group is leading and coordinating an international ManyLabs study to measure globally, how exposure to extreme heat impacts our cognitive and social functioning, climate-relevant beliefs and psychological well-being.
At Seeburg University, I am leading the social science work package in a HORIZON2020 EU project on energy and demand response flexibility in Europe-wide Pilot projects. My research focuses on applying models from behavioral science and psychology to foster behavior change, increase technology acceptance and inform policy making. Under the supervision of Prof. Florian Kutzner, I conduct both online and field randomized controlled trials and surveys.
I freelance for DecisionContext, consulting non-government and governmental organizations on how we can integrate behavioral science research with their work on the ground. I’m always interested in collaborations at the intersection of psychology and climate change that align with my research and personal interests - feel free to reach out.
